I made your vanilla bean and buttermilk conchas for family this weekend during our “Christmas coffee shop” and they loved them! The flavor was fantastic.

They did crack a bit at the top along with the pasta, so I’m going to try an oven thermometer next time!

Thank you Kirstie! And yes, the oven thermometer should help with the cracking. If not, you can try reducing the amount of yeast by 2 grams to see if that works too. (:

Hi!! Feliz Navidad!

I just wanted to share an update that I got an oven thermometer and found my degree was running 25 degrees hot. I made the adjustment yesterday and the conchas turned out absolutely beautiful and perfect!!! I took them to buena noche and they were gone within minutes. Thank you so much
