I would like to say that I have been struggling with my concha game these past few months that I almost gave up hope. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL to have found your page! Your tips and tricks saved me from giving up on my hobby 😭 thank you Channey! You don’t know how much I appreciate your posts and recipes! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Sweet comments from lovely people like you seriously keep me going. You've no idea how nice this is to read. Thank you so much Crystal. Keep baking - conchas are a labor of love. 💕
so much love and care poured out in this post! still dreaming of a day i live next door so we can trade baked goods but until then, i’ll have to try making these conchas on my own🥹 thank you for the recipe🤍
Sweet friend, I look forward to being neighbors soon! Your bakes are so beautiful and I'm so happy to see coucou on my feed, it seriously brings me so much joy. Can't wait to see your concha journey!
Yes! Ceylon cinnamon works best since it's more floral than spicy. If you don't have ceylon you can sub any other cinnamon and reduce the amount, but it'll still pair well with the matcha.
what a sweet gift from you to us, I can tell how intimately you know the concha, and honored to have time-tested recipe to stow away for future baking! It is on my list after your tiramisu :)
I'm new to at-home concha making, and think the concha stamp is so cool! p.s., sending hugs and comfort ❤️
Catherine!! Thank you friend, many hugs and comfort to you too. And yes, the concha stamp is truly a work of art haha. It's a wonderful tool. Looking forward to seeing your creations. (:

If I’m using matcha do you still recommend using cinnamon?
